Worketech, a Malawian Tech company awarded by ICTAM (ICT Association of Malawi) for their innovative and effective use of technology in education. The award is a testament to the company’s commitment to providing quality solutions to the education sector among other sectors, in Malawi. Worketech’s award-winning platform at the moment of conception targeted secondary schools but it can also be adopted by primary schools and universities with just a few tweaks.
The platform provides educators with a comprehensive suite of tools to manage their classrooms, including a grade book, lesson plans, a student information system. The Worketech insight platform is there to ease communication between teachers, students and parents. The insight platform, as the name itself suggests, gives the parents an “insight” into the students’ academic progress without the need for the parent and the teacher to physically meet. Besides this, payments between the parent and the school can also be viewed on this platform.
The platform also has a jaw-dropping feature we are dubbing the “CPA” (comparative performance analysis) that will motivate students to do better while also helping parents understand the position their student is on when it comes to competing against their fellow students because it is a competitive world.
