Handeii Privacy Policy

The app stores the following only on your iPhone, in storage that other apps can't access:

• Your profile: preferred name, and optionally your age, gender, industry, role or level, and region.
• Your sessions:what you're preparing for, the details you entered, the questions generated for you, your answers, confidence ratings, scores, analysis and review cards.
• After-event check-ins: your ratings and notes, if you choose to complete them.
• Preferences:reminder time and notification choices, appearance, accent colour, accessibility settings, and whether you've seen the app tour.

We (Worketech) can't see or access this information. It isn't backed up to our servers. If your iPhone backs up to iCloud or your computer, it may be included in that backup under Apple's terms.

To create a session, the app sends a request to Google's Gemini API containing your session brief:

• the category and type of event (for example, "Driving theory")
• any details you typed, such as context, test name or provider
• your selected region
• the session length, difficulty and focus areas you chose

Not included: your name, age, gender, industry, role, past answers or scores.

Google uses this brief to research your topic (including with Google Search) and generate questions. Like any internet service, Google also receives technical information needed to deliver the request, such as your device's IP address and the app's identifier. Google processes this information under its own terms and privacy policy (Google Privacy Policy; Gemini API Additional Terms).

Please don't include sensitive personal information (for example, health details, identification numbers or other people's personal details) in the details you type for a session.

Time check:before a session, the app asks Google's servers for the current time, so the free session limit works correctly. This request contains no personal information or session content.

Worketech doesn't operate a server for Handeii. We don't receive, log or store your session briefs or the questions generated for you.

Handeii gives one new session every 48 hours. To enforce this, the app stores the time of your last sessionin your iPhone's secure Keychain. This timestamp contains no personal information and never leaves your device. Unlike other app data, items in the iOS Keychain can remain on your iPhone after you delete the app. That's intentional: it keeps the limit fair. Using "Delete all data" in the app doesn't remove this timestamp, but it's only used to work out when your next free session is available.

If you allow notifications, reminders and "did you know" facts are scheduled locally on your iPhone. They're not sent through any Worketech server. Their text can include what you're preparing for, for example "Finish your Driving theory session". Depending on your iPhone settings, this may appear on your lock screen. You can change the time, turn individual reminders off in Profile → Notifications, or turn notifications off entirely in iPhone Settings.

• We don't require an account, email address or phone number.
• We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and we don't track you across other apps or websites.
• We don't sell or share your personal information.
• We don't use your information to train AI models.

Handeii is intended for people aged 13 and over. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you're under the age of digital consent where you live, please use Handeii with a parent or guardian's permission. If you think a child under 13 has used the app, deleting the app removes their data from the device.

Information stays on your iPhone until you delete it.

• Delete everything in the app:Profile → Data → Delete all data. This is immediate and can't be undone.
• Delete the app: removes all app data from your iPhone except the session-limit timestamp described in section 3.

Because we don't hold your information, we can't recover it for you, and there's nothing for us to delete on our side. Information sent to Google is handled under Google's retention policies.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the use of your personal information. Because Handeii keeps your information on your device, you can view, edit and delete it directly in the app. For anything else, or to complain, contact us using the details below. You may also contact your local data protection authority, for example the Malawi Data Protection Authority (info@dpa.mw).

Your data is protected by your iPhone's built-in security, including app sandboxing and, when you use a passcode, device encryption. Information sent to Google travels over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.

If we change how Handeii handles information, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date. For significant changes, we'll also let you know in the app.
