Handeii User Agreement

You must be at least 13 years old. If you're under the age of majority where you live, you confirm that a parent or guardian has agreed to these terms for you.

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Handeii on any Apple-branded device you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, rent or distribute the app, or try to extract its source code or any credentials it contains, except where the law allows this despite this restriction.

• Handeii creates practice material using artificial intelligence (Google Gemini) and publicly available information. Questions, explanations, facts, tips and analysis are generated automatically and may be incomplete, out of date or wrong.
• Handeii is a study aid. It isn't official exam material, professional, legal, medical or financial advice, or a substitute for official sources, instructors or advisers. Always check important information against the official source for your exam, test, interview or event.
• Handeii does not guarantee any result, including passing a test or getting a job.
• Handeii isn't affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any exam body, licensing authority, school, employer or other organisation named in the app or in generated content.

Handeii is currently free. Each user can generate one new session every 48 hours, and features such as the review deck, results and progress remain available in between. We may change these limits, or introduce optional paid features, in future. Any purchases will be made through Apple and governed by Apple's terms, and we'll tell you about any paid feature before you pay. Attempting to get around the session limit, for example by tampering with the app or your device, isn't allowed.

Please don't:

• use Handeii for anything illegal, harmful, or to create content that harasses or harms others
• enter other people's personal information, or sensitive personal information, into session details
• try to disrupt, overload or misuse the app or the services it connects to, including Google's
• use the app to cheat in an actual exam or assessment where doing so breaks that exam's rules.

What you type into Handeii stays yours. You give us, and the AI service we use, permission to process it only to provide the app's features to you, as described in the Privacy Policy. You're responsible for what you enter.

Handeii uses Google Gemini, including Google Search grounding, to generate content. Your use of those features is also subject to Google's terms and privacy policy. We're not responsible for third-party services, which may change or become unavailable. When you use the app, you must also comply with any applicable third-party terms, such as your mobile data provider's terms.

We may update, change or stop offering Handeii, or any feature, at any time. We may update this agreement. If we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date, and for significant changes we'll tell you in the app. Continuing to use Handeii after a change means you accept it.

You can stop using Handeii at any time by deleting it. This licence ends automatically if you break these terms. Sections 3, 6, 10 and 12 continue to apply after it ends.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Handeii is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. To the fullest extent the law allows, Worketech won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of data, opportunity or results, arising from your use of, or inability to use, Handeii or its generated content. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app (which, while Handeii is free, is zero). Nothing in this agreement limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.

This section applies when you download Handeii from Apple's App Store.

1. a.Agreement between you and Worketech only. This agreement is between you and Worketech, not Apple. Worketech, not Apple, is solely responsible for Handeii and its content.
2. b.Scope of licence. Your licence is limited to using Handeii on Apple-branded products you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. Handeii may also be accessed by other accounts associated with you via Family Sharing or volume purchasing.
3. c.Maintenance and support. Worketech is solely responsible for any maintenance and support for Handeii, as described in this agreement or required by law. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the app.
4. d.Warranty. Worketech is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent they haven't been effectively disclaimed. If Handeii fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) to you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for Handeii. Any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses from any failure to conform to a warranty are Worketech's sole responsibility.
5. e.Product claims. Worketech, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to Handeii or your possession or use of it. That includes product liability claims, claims that the app fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar laws.
6. f.Intellectual property. If any third party claims that Handeii, or your possession and use of it, infringes their intellectual property rights, Worketech, not Apple, is solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of that claim.
7. g.Legal compliance. You confirm that you’re not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country. You also confirm that you’re not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
8. h.Developer contact. Questions, complaints or claims about Handeii should be sent to: Worketech Limited, Area 18A, Gomani Street, Plot 1, Lilongwe, Malawi, info@worketech.co.mw.
9. i.Third-party terms. You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using Handeii.
10. j.Third-party beneficiary. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement. Once you accept it, Apple has the right, and is deemed to have accepted the right, to enforce this agreement against you as a third-party beneficiary.

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Malawi, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Malawi have jurisdiction, unless your local consumer law gives you the right to bring proceedings where you live.
